Handre and Nicola’s Wedding May 2012

So when two of my dear friends asked me to photograph their wedding I was thrilled. They met at sea, we all saw how happy they made each other and I was completely touched to be part of their amazing day. Weddings are very personal and this day couldn’t have been any better suited for Handre and Nic…. There was a lot of love in the air.

West Coast Adventures

I traveled around the West Coast of America and took a ridiculous amount of photos however these are three of my shots. My grasshopper is one of my favorite photos… can you have a favorite photo? Or is it like loving one of your kids more than the other?? (I don’t have kids by the way) The other two were taken at the Walt Disney Concert Hall by Frank Geary, Los Angeles. I did go to many other places, I’m sure I will post more up sometime.

En France

Looking through some of my Instagram photos, I wanted to add a few, just to show the variety of food that we had over there!!

Those small moments

One of the tracks from the Amelie soundtrack has just played through my speakers and it always reminds me of the small moments in life…

Autumn is a great time of year (when it’s not too chilly) but something that always brings a smile to my face is walking along the road, seeing a big leave, putting my shoe on it and it making a great big crunching sound. Every time it just makes me smile!

Back in the day… I love these photos of my family!

So, these are just a few photos I have of Mum, Dad and my brother Kristian. I think from a very young age I asked my mum if I could have the family photos in my room and I would look after them. I used to make little albums and treasured them so much. I probably looked at them every weekend. They captured something so timeless and precious to me that I wanted to remember them forever. I think a lot of my memories come from the photographs… This was just the beginning of my love for these moments captured and saved forever.

Oh my goodness, me and my brother were cute kids!! Sun bleached hair from the Bermuda sun. My brother had an American accent when he was younger. We have one video from when we were in Bermuda, I am only 1 and wobbling all over the place (no change there!) and my Kristian must have been 4 or 5, he has an American accent on it… It amazes me every time I hear it!

Also some photos of my parents, they were pretty trendy back in their day. Mum a fashion designer and Dad an Architect. Pretty hip!
